Always look for a site that is not just operated by Christians, but one that is owned and operated by genuine Christians – in other words, the company or organisation is owned by people who care about your soul and your well-being and not just about your wallet and how much cash you have to splash out on their often exorbitant and not very fruitful service!
Free Christian Singles Networks
Can we suggest any free Christian dating networks? We could but there is only one genuinely free services that ticks all the boxes (Christian owned – really free and has 1000’s real Christian singles – not fake profiles) and is really any good here – and that is our own free service and it goes without saying that we will recommend that (since I run it and I spend most of my time making sure it’s spammer free and has genuine people on it!). But seriously – other FREE sites are chock-full of spammers and fake profiles – www.fusion101.com Christian singles network is not – despite their best attempts to get access to the site!
Pay as You Go Christian Singles
The only other services I would recommend would be pay services and there are several to choose from that have been around a long time. ChristianMingle is NOT Christian owned – so this is the one exception, whereby because they charge a lot they naturally block out many time-wasters. I have heard mixed results here – some good – some negative but the actual quality of the site is good.
Another highly recommended site is ChristianCafe – this is a Canadian website and really has a large selection of Christian singles on it and many of the profiles are genuine and active – meaning the members are recent and not ancient inactive profiles where you are unlikely to get a response.
We don’t suggest E-Harmony – I think ‘money’ is the operative word there as with many dating sites. No I really have heard several stories from very unhappy people who were taken in by the slick advertising and marketing only to be delivered very very little in return. One lady demanded a refund and to be fair was given one after some time but for the number of contacts she received – she said she was very unhappy. It’s as if the matching is so ‘scientific’ that it leaves no suitable contacts and the matching becomes almost unnatural – the very thing they are actually aiming for.
Another recommended Christian singles network would be SingleC Christian Network – check them out as they have been around a long time and have a good reputable service.
